Product Marketing Manager needed to perform the following duties:

  • Directing market analysis of the U.S. needs and requirements and making final determinations based on personal knowledge of the market and the results of the new research.
  • Observe operational processes of our prime product TruckDues.com, and for several of the client products and analyze each of the components
  • Analyze the environment of business. Determine the strengths and weaknesses of the organization and the opportunities and threats in its external environment
  • Forming marketing proposals
  • Overseeing and approving subordinates’ search for leads and databases for marketing activities
  • Taking initiatives to attend truck shows and other industry-related events
  • Discover and identify the technical requirements by coordinating with the IRS officials and State E-filing Tax authorities to get Tax products Taxgarden.com and TruckDues.com certified formally and to release the product service throughout the North American market.
  • Actively support the product development team to understand the software questionnaire requirements from the IRS
  • Will be managing, monitoring the complete technical discussion with the State E-filing Tax authorities and the product marketing activities, with the support of all currently hired and the newly hired employees.
  • Supervise the following personnel and contractors at offshore for the Taxgarden.com and Truck Dues project: Product Owner, Go to Market Strategist, Tax Analyst Lead, SME/ Tax Analysts, Developers, Technical Architects, Build and Deploy Team, Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Project Lead, UI & UX Designers, Content/Technical Writers, Quality Assurance Specialists, Certification Team, Marketing Manager, and Support Center Team.
  • Responsible for understanding the competitive landscape to analyze on the company’s competition and how they are positioned.
  • Regularly managed a competition analysis to understand the quality of services provided by competitors in the market.
  • Prepare analysis including a detailed comparison of price, application’s user interface, and new application features
  • Take part in Business shows and exhibitions to meet the prospective and current customers to get insight into customer’s preferences, and why they are using competitor’s product. How to steer them to our websites etc.
  • Utilize data to help company understand what truck owners wanted and helped facilitated effective decision-making in future product development Offered insights about product potentials.
  • Examine product quality and determine necessary enhancements to boost sales and to create value-based solutions for all the software products.
  • Engage with the marketing team at offshore and customers to understand the VOC (Voice of the Customer) and CTQ’s (Critical-to-Quality Trees) to enable new product ideas and services to match the market need
  • Manage the team in creating business proposals for new product development Taxgarden.com give approval post review.
  • Develop marketing plans (pricing, advertising, product launching)
  • Develop marketing plans for the products supported in conjunction with the marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Act as a primary thought leader for the products supported externally. Mr. work closely with the product development team to determine the most profitable course of action for each existing and new product.
  • Manage and supervise the following marketing strategies activities: online advertisements, Google AdWords, BING Ads, flyers, online press releases, promotional videos, coupons, and gift cards.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing programs on an ongoing basis and report to the management on required changes. assigned tasks related to monitoring activity reports, measuring achieved sales, and determining the reason for incidental discrepancies to his subordinates.   • Prepare a product proposal for Jeevan Tax 2290 Solution, which provides e-filing service for Form 2290, Form 8849 Sch.6, Form 2290 Amendment, and Form 2290 VIN Corrections. The Jeevan Tax 2290 Solution enables 2290 e-filing for truckers of all size, from owner operators to trucking companies.
  • Create online and digital marketing strategy, identified available opportunities such as search engine optimization, social, and search engine marketing, direct email campaigns, and retargeting.
  • Co-ordinate with the tax team to forecast sales on monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Design product introduction and promotions.
  • Collaborate with customer support team to create a feedback loop.
  • Co-ordinate the team and the managers to make custom-tailored marketing offering
  • Responsible for understanding who the buyers are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria.
    Documenting the buyers’ process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make.
  • Drive changes to sales and marketing processes. collaborate with product management staff to develop product positioning and messaging that resonated with target buyers.
  • Interaction with Marketing, Finance & business heads in the organization to negotiate resources and budgets for the business.
  • Assimilate information from disparate systems into an integrated real-time view of financial and business processes.
  • Provide data to make decisions based on real data and current market conditions with up-to-date assumptions.
  • Acquire business and financial data that indicates exactly what level of sales the company needs to fulfill obligations and sustain operations.
  • Forecasting expectations of funds, when the business will need funds in the future.
  • Create a culture around expense management with a focus on cost efficiency and accountability across the business

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing.
