Role Expectations
- Sales development across one or more of our targeted industry segments and gaining entry and driving annuity opportunities to closure
- New revenue acquisition from net new clients - $1M invoiced revenue within the first 12 months, and $5TCV across all clients and deals secured
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own & Deliver New Client Acquisitions and Revenue targets as defined
- Create strategic and tactical plans to generate new opportunities and drive them to closure
- Build relationships with key executives, and develop/pursue leads
- Leverage deep connects in network and executive level relationships to introduce Client, and create and pursue selling opportunities
- Influence decision-makers at the highest levels with prospective clients
- Drive the process to identify, qualify, and win opportunities
- Drive sales opportunities and build networks to leverage Application Transformation Services and knowledge and capabilities by positioning Client offerings to address prospective client's business requirements and issues
- Create, drive, and support direct demand generation and marketing campaigns
- Independently create sales collateral to support client meetings and articulate Client value propositions and market offerings
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 8-10 years of relevant Sales experience
- Engineering Degree; MBA (Preferred)
- High energy and self-sufficient, with a “hunt and close” mentality
- Successful track record of sales, selling Application Managed Services or Application Solutions within assigned industry segments and/or a geographic territory
- Must have a sound technical understanding of, and experience selling skills in the GTM area
- Must have competencies in New Business Development and Territory Planning.
- Significant business relationships and network with senior client executives
- Possess demonstrable experience managing complex prospective clients
- Experience selling project-based/outcome-based solution services, driving high value transactions.
- Team player and ability to collaborate with the sales enablement eco-system (Presales, Solutions and architecture, DG, Delivery, Marketing, Finance and Legal)
- Ability to handle change, be adaptive
- High confidence and gravitas to be an ambassador for Client, and articulate the Client value proposition to decision makers and buyers.
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Sound understanding of competitive offerings, market and industry insight.
- Ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in organizations
- Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue projects or annuity transactions.
- Be agile in the sales process, understand the dynamic changes to the sales lifecycle, key prospect buying personas and finding creative ways to continuously qualify/requalify the opportunity during the customer decision cycle
- Ability to travel extensively when needed to meet prospects in person
- Must have digital and social media skills to create prospects, amplify the Client branding & marketing initiatives and enhance personal brand.
